The mighty Hawks Masters Team chalked up another win under very trying conditions last Sunday at Hession Oval. The Hawks took on Beenleigh and fresh after beating reigning premiers Broadbeach the boys were confident of denting Beenleighs chance to play finals. After losing the toss and being asked to bat the hawks put on 164 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Top score of the day was Ray Simons who made a personal highest score of 38 runs. Next best was Tom Rossister who made 36 not out. The total was too much for the Beenleigh boys to chase down and they finished their 40 overs at 115 runs.
The Hawks now take on Coomera at Hession next Sunday the 13th and will be looking to finish the season with 3 straight wins. |

On Sunday the 16th of January the Hawks Masters team broke their run of outs and chalked up their first win for 2 seasons. Not only did the Hawks win but also defeated the reigning premiers in the Broadbeach Cricket Club. Star of the win was new player Mark Robinson who took 4 for 6 of 6 overs and who then did it with the bat notching up 47 runs. Congratulations to all of the team. Well done fellas. |
